I’m Kathleen – Your Girl Friday

Business Strategist.

My inspiration comes from her.

I am Kathleen, a highly experienced Business Notary Signing Agent and Strategy consultant with over 25 years of experience in the field of business management and finance. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Management from DeVry University and a Master’s degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and I am also in the process of obtaining my PMP certification, which demonstrates my commitment to continuous learning and professional development. I am also pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance to enhance my knowledge and expertise in the financial field.

Throughout my career, I have worked in various roles across several organizations, including Image One Industries, Stronghold Construction & Development, GM Holdings Management, and Silica Builders and Construction Management. In each of these roles, I have honed my exceptional skills in business development, financial management, project coordination, and vendor/contractor management.

As a Project Manager at Image One Industries, I was instrumental in the planning, design, and construction of projects, from forecasting to managing construction costs. I successfully managed multiple high-priority projects, communicated and monitored progress, and ensured that deadlines, budgets, KPIs, and resources were allocated effectively. I am highly proficient in project management software, including Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office tools, which enables me to work independently and efficiently.

As the Operations and Finance Manager at Stronghold Construction & Development, I was responsible for analyzing and presenting financial reports, preparing monthly and annual financial statements, supervising and assigning responsibilities to labor, material, and time requirements, and collaborating with contractors, engineers, and architects. My ability to eliminate unnecessary expenses and re-negotiate vendor contracts has contributed to significant cost savings and improved profitability.

My experience as Operations Manager at GM Holdings Management and Silica Builders and Construction Management has provided me with the skills to supervise a large team of direct and indirect employees, analyze and reconcile financial statements, prepare annual operating budgets, and lead contract negotiations with vendors. With my strong analytical skills and experience in business analytics, I am well-equipped to provide ongoing data analysis and business health metrics to my clients.

In conclusion, I am a highly skilled and experienced consultant who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my clients. I am a confident communicator, a skilled project manager, and a highly organized and detail-oriented professional. With my exceptional skills in financial management, vendor/contractor management, and project coordination, I am the ideal consultant for small businesses looking to grow and develop their operations.

My motivation and dedication belongs to Sandra Holman Bacote, the retired regional director of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. Until her retirement in 2005, Mrs. Holman fought discrimination in Pennsylvania for 29 years, working with African-American organizations, women’s rights groups, people with disabilities and seniors who had suffered age discrimination. That same year she received the PHRC’s Professional in Human Rights Awards.

Raised in North Philadelphia, she was a graduate of Germantown High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Temple University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania.

She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and a Golden Heritage member of the NAACP. She served on the boards of many community organizations, including Berean Institute and North City Congress.

I solute you Sandra for a job well done.
